The Tutor

The tutor for this course will be Dr Dylan Lewis. He is a full-time tutor in maths and science educated to PhD level. He completed his PhD in radiation physics at the University of Surrey and later became a senior researcher at companies developing detection systems for nuclear security applications. Dylan has presented at numerous international conferences and published in peer reviewed journals, including developments in neutron detection for fission source detection and identification at the Institute for Nuclear Materials Management conference in Atlanta 2017. He is currently researching motion capture systems for sports applications and presented this work at the World Badminton Coaching Conference 2019.

The Basingstoke course is ideal for pre GCSE as well as Basingstoke students taking examinations

Lesson Content

The course will be tailored to the needs of the students based on their topic requests prior the the start of the course. Past paper questions will be emphasised in addition to the theory.
